Her hometown, Falls Church, is where she has lived throughout her entire adult life. As a young girl, her love of the arts started when she was enrolled at Washington School of Ballet. She was a hit in her dancing career in the beginning, and had been in numerous school plays. She performed in every school musical when she started high school and began to act instead of dance. She went to Carnegie Mellon University, where she was a Drama major. After two years of studies, she decided to leave and concentrate on her career as an actor.
